All Campers must perform a symptom screening upon arrival and daily symptom screening for multi-day camp. Any camper who displays symptoms will be sent home immediately. Neither the camp nor the University of Virginia will be responsible for testing the camper for COVID-19.
Any camper who has tested positive for COVID must be 10 days out from their positive test before coming to camp. (Date of test is day 0, then add 10 days, can report to camp on day 11)
Any camper who displays COVID symptoms will be isolated in a designated space with supervision by at least 2 adults. Parents/Guardians will be called for pick up. Pick up is expected to occur within 2 hours of parent/guardian notification. (This is an Office of Youth Protection policy.)
The University DOES NOT have isolation housing for overnight campers. All campers with COVID symptoms must be picked up within 2 hours of parent/guardian notification and should not be isolated in dorms.
