Team Camp

Date: July 19-21, 2024
Commuter: $350, Overnight: $440
Ages: 8th - 12th grade
Additional Overnight Coach: $225
Additional Commuter Coach: $125
Fees for coaches cover food, housing, T-shirt, and background check.

You must be a member of an attending HS team to attend this camp.

Team Camp provides the opportunity for teams to train together through competitive drills, team instruction, and tournament play. Team training sessions will be based on the needs of each team and then applying skills learned through competition. The final day of team camp will be a tournament day with pool play in the morning and a single-elimination tournament in the afternoon.

Each team must have a minimum of 10 players and 1 coach or team representative. Each athlete will register individually. One coach per team will receive free lodging, meals, t-shirt and a background check for camp. Team camp coaches will be given double occupancy housing in our camp dorms.

Each team is assigned a camp coach throughout the camp. If a high school coach is interested in coaching their own team, please contact Trevor Kennan ([email protected]).

Per the University of Virginia Youth Protection policies, all high school coaches will be required to complete a background check initiated by Cavalier Volleyball Camps.

2:30-4:30pm: Team Evaluations
4:30-6:00pm: Dinner
6:15-9:00pm: Session I
9:15pm: HS Coaches Meeting

July 20th
7:30-8:30am: Breakfast for overnight campers
9:00-11:30am: Session II
11:30-1:00pm: Lunch
1:00-2:00pm: Coaches Clinic
2:30-5:00pm: Session III: Team Practices
4:30-6:15pm: Dinner
6:30-9:00pm: Session IV

July 21st
7:30-8:15am: Breakfast for overnight campers
8:00-8:30am: Coaches Meeting
8:30-1:30pm: Pool Play for Team Tournament
12:30-2:30pm: Lunch
2:45-6:30pm: Single-Elimination Tournament

Check-out will occur as soon as your last match is completed, which could be earlier than 6:30pm.
